DON Report
Excellent quality of care for your residents
isn't the only goal we have here at eHDS--we also strive to make your jobs
easier and more efficient. The newly released DON Report does just that
by providing you with a report which is an overview of census and clinical
information such as resident details, QI/QM
information, and occurrence information pulled from both CareWatch®
and RiskWatch®
and presented in one cohesive unit.
This eliminates the need for you to manually
retrieve this
information from several different sources; hence it saves you time,
provides a quick and easy way to compare metrics, and improves your
overall efficiency. |

Browser Requirement Upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or
Greater
Effective immediately, in order to access the eHDS website
properly, you must use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater as
your browser. If you have any difficulties, please contact
your Information Technology Department or other designated
personnel.
Note-Worthy - CareWatch®
- An issue with a modification assessment not being accepted
properly has been fixed. Modification assessments will now
replace the appropriate existing assessment.
- Per the Illinois 2008 state rules regarding restoratives, an
update has been made to the 2008 Illinois Medicaid Facility
Daily Minutes and Rates page regarding the Dressing/Grooming
restorative and dependency status. If a resident's MDS
score is noted as fully dependent, they will only qualify for
the dressing/grooming restorative for one quarter.
- A refinement to the Assessments Due page has been added to
ensure that if you have submitted three quarterly assessments,
the system will automatically look for an annual assessment as
the next assessment due.
Note-Worthy - RiskWatch®
- A bug regarding email notifications for high severity incidents
has been corrected and is now functioning properly.
- A change in
the "Report Entry" page and the "Enter Report" page has been
implemented. When you click on "Report Entry" now you will see
a full menu of Reporter Operations including managing occurrence
reports, skin issue risk management features, and use analysis
reports. The "Enter Report" link now only displays options for recording new occurrences.
