RiskWatch®
- (May, 2008)
| In an effort to make your reports as
exact and customizable as we can, we are pleased to announce that we have added
a new page to the surveyor report in RiskWatch®.
The new page allows you to be more selective regarding the specific occurrence
types and sub-types which you include in the report for the surveyors.
|
The new page is accessed through an added link located at
the top of the RiskWatch®
surveyor report and is available to users who have Analysis permissions in the
system. You also need to be at the facility level in the blue banner
across the top of the screen in order to see the report; it is not
available at the regional or organizational levels. To see the new page, log in and then click the
"ANALYSIS" link found to the left of the page in the gold navigation menu; this
will open the RiskWatch®
Analysis Menu page as shown to the right.
Next, locate the the heading, "Reports,"
and then click the underlined
"Surveyor Report" link to open the page
When the Surveyor Report page opens, you will
now see two new headings: "Normal Options" and "Advanced Options" located at the
top of the screen just below the title "Surveyor Report." Please see the
snapshot below.
|
 |
Click the "Advanced Options" link to open the new
page which displays all of the occurrence types and sub-types for the surveyor
report:

As you can see, the report is basically the same
as it has always been and it operates in the same manner: select the
status(es) you wish to review; the date range; units; and how you want the
resident identification information displayed--then submit the report. The
exception is that now, if you choose, you can click in the square checkboxes to
select exactly which types and and/or sub-types of occurrences you want to show
in the final surveyor report. To select an occurrence type/sub-type,
simply click in the box. To de-select a type, click in the box again.
You can select as many occurrence types and
sub-types as you want for the report. Please note that if a sub-type has
ever been used by your organization and an occurrence was entered in the system
with that sub-type, the sub-type option will still show on the options list in
the Advanced Menu even if that sub-type is currently no longer in use by your
organization.
With this enhancement, it is our hope that the
Surveyor Report function becomes even more beneficial for you and easier to use. If
you have additional ideas on how we can improve any of the reports or data
analysis functions in either CareWatch®
or RiskWatch®, please contact us via Ask eHDS or at 937.767.1885. We want
the systems to work for you in the best way that they possibly can--and your
direct input helps us meet those goals.
