State Report Enhancements Back to What's New

RiskWatch® - (September, 2008)

We are pleased to announce several enhancements to the various state forms which some of you are mandated to submit to the state following an event in your facilities.  These enhancements have improved editing functionality, allow for the withdrawal of a report from the submission process, and allow for longer text narrative, among other changes.

The following state reports have been affected by these changes:

Connecticut (new report) Florida 1 Day Report
Kansas (new report) Florida 15 Day Report
Texas Illinois
Louisiana Heritage's Illinois Report
Ohio

Most of these enhancements have to do with the print, save, and submission processes after the report has been completed.  As such, you will notice that the function buttons at the bottom of the page have changed.  These are the buttons available at the report entry stage:

After the state report is submitted, you will now see the following buttons:

Please note that the report information shown at the bottom of the page does not print out on the hard copy of the form.

If you make edits to the report by selecting the "Edit Report" button, the following buttons will appear.  Also shown are the functions of the buttons.

In addition to the above enhancements regarding editing, submission, and withdrawal of a report, we have also increased the character limit for each of the fields in the reports.  Each field can now hold up to 8000 characters, which gives you lots of room to go into detail during your narratives.

And to round things out, we have also added the ability to change data that is automatically filled in from the RiskWatch® occurrence entry.  If you notice information that is incorrect or that you just want to change in the areas that were auto populated, simply click in the text box, delete the information that you don't want, and type in the new information.  Don't forget to save your changes so that it isn't accidentally lost.

If you have suggestions for further enhancements to the state report forms or functionality, please don't hesitate to let us know.  Our goal is to give you exactly what you need to make reporting easier, cleaner, faster, and more efficient.  We can be reached at our customer support number:  937-767-1885 or through email at Ask eHDS.
