CareWatch®
- (September, 2008)
| Enhancements have been made to the existing
Illinois Watch pages regarding the criteria of inclusion of assessments in the payment analyses
on these pages. This was done in order to be consistent with the practices
of the state of Illinois. We have also changed the menu of the Illinois
Watch pages for easier organization and management, as well as added more analyses using the revised 2008
state of Illinois rules for reimbursement.
The most obvious enhancement to Illinois Watch is
the menu page and the additional payment analyses. We have revised this
page so that when the Illinois Watch is selected from the gold navigation menu,
the page opens to a menu which shows the analyses using the 2008 rules
exclusively:
Additionally, all of these pages, and those
using the 2006 rules, the "Original Rules Menu" now use the R2b date as the
criteria for inclusion in the reports. This includes the main tables, as
well as all of the drill through reports. Previously, the Assessment
Reference Date (ARD/A3a) was used for this consideration. The use of the
R2b date follows the practices of the state of the Illinois and has been changed
for consistency purposes. This may result in some minor changes to the
numbers you see in your reports.
You will also notice that the rest of the
payment analyses reports for 2008 have been added to the Illinois Watch menu.
This includes the percentiles pages, alerts, and mental illness pages, among
others. These operate just as the 2006 rules pages, click on the link to
open the report you wish to view and use the same standard processes you have
used previously to generate your reports. Please see "Help This Page" if
you need assistance or feel free to contact us at 937-767-1885 or via email at
Ask eHDs if you need further help.
To review historical data using the 2006 rules,
click on the link titled, "Original Rules Menu" at the top right of the page.
This will open a new menu page with all of the links available which use the
2006 rules. To return to the 2008 menu, click the link, "2008 Rules Menu."
