Our latest release included changes to implement the CMS April 1st updates.
Changes to CareWatch®:
- Change the Entry Form
- Update edits per CMS, adding 18 new edits
- Change RUG version
- All new PDF forms
- Change ADL Watch Page (On straight discharge assessments dated after 04/01/12, support is no longer scored and therefore ADL scores are not calculated.)
- Change Weight Watch Page (Now tracking nutritional approaches for both residents and nonresidents, and 5% weight change in 30 days or 10% in 180 days.)
- Change MDS Details:
- Section A with A050 added
- Section G with G0110×2 deleted
- Section K0310 and K0510A-Z additions
- Section N-410A-G additions
- Section Q deletions and additions
- Revised help pages
Changes to UBWatch™ and Change of Therapy:
- The UB requires corresponding assessments and ARD dates
- Need to report all assessments during the payment period including change of therapy
- Start dates and end dates are reported
- Discharge dates must match
